Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Last Revised: April 22, 2026
Privacy Policy
AppsContinuum Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates a collection of mobile applications (the "Applications"). This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications developed and published by AppsContinuum Inc.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Applications.
Information We Collect
We do not directly collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or account information through our Applications.
Your reading activity, bookmarks, searches, and source preferences remain on your device and are not transmitted to AppsContinuum servers.
However, our Applications may use third-party services that collect certain information automatically.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Applications, certain information may be collected automatically by third-party services, including:
- Device information (such as device model and operating system)
- IP address
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android)
- Application usage data and interactions
Third-Party Services
Our Applications may use third-party services that collect and process data, including but not limited to:
- Google AdMob (for displaying advertisements)
- YouTube (for video playback and embedded content)
These services may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to provide functionality and improve user experience.

Advertising
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in our Applications. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device settings, location, and applicable laws.
Users may be asked to consent to personalized advertising where required.
Tracking and Advertising Identifiers
Our Applications may use advertising identifiers such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Android Advertising ID (AAID) to provide advertising services.
On iOS devices, you may be asked for permission to allow tracking in accordance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You can manage or withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings.
Data Usage
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information directly with third parties. Any data collected is handled by third-party service providers according to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Any data collected is managed by third-party service providers.
Data Deletion
Because our Applications do not collect or store your personal data on AppsContinuum servers, there is no server-side data for us to delete. The only data the Applications generate exists locally on your device — including your reading history, bookmarks, search history, source preferences, and cached articles or videos.
To delete this device-stored data, you have two options:
- Clear the app's data: Go to your device's Settings → Apps → [name of the AppsContinuum app, e.g. "Astronomy News"] → Storage → Clear data (Android), or Settings → General → iPhone Storage → [app name] → Offload App or Delete App (iOS). This removes all locally stored data while optionally keeping the app installed.
- Uninstall the app: Removing the app from your device permanently deletes all of its locally stored data.
For data that may have been collected by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) — such as advertising identifiers and anonymized usage signals — deletion is governed by Google's data deletion processes. You can manage this data through:
- Your device's advertising settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS; Settings → Google → Ads on Android)
- The in-app Privacy Settings (where applicable to your region) to revoke advertising consent
- Google's Ad Settings page at myadcenter.google.com
If you have any questions about data deletion, you can contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Accessibility
AppsContinuum is committed to making our Applications usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design with accessibility in mind and continually work to improve support for assistive technologies.
Our iOS Applications support the following accessibility features:
- VoiceOver: Navigate the app entirely with Apple's screen reader. Articles, videos, bookmarks, search, and settings can all be reached and operated using VoiceOver.
- Larger Text (Dynamic Type): Article body text, buttons, and most interface elements scale with your preferred system text size, including the largest accessibility sizes.
- Dark Interface: A full dark mode is supported, following your system appearance setting.
- Sufficient Contrast: Text and interface elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast guidelines in both light and dark modes.
- Differentiate Without Color Alone: Status and state are conveyed through icons, shapes, and text labels rather than color alone.
For VoiceOver users, key actions are exposed via the rotor as custom actions. For example, while focused on a news row, swipe up or down to access "Bookmark" or "Unbookmark" without leaving the row. While a video is playing, the rotor exposes a "Stop video" action.
Some accessibility features are still being improved. Voice Control, Reduced Motion, and Captions support are on our roadmap for a future update. Embedded videos include third-party caption controls (such as the YouTube CC button) which can be enabled manually during playback.
If you encounter an accessibility issue or have feedback to help us improve, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We take accessibility feedback seriously and review all reports.
Children's Privacy
Our Applications are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You can limit ad personalization through your device settings:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Android: Settings → Google → Ads
User Privacy Choices
You have several options to manage your privacy and the data collected through our Applications:

- Limit ad personalization on Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
- Revoke advertising consent in-app (where applicable): Open the app → Settings (gear icon) → "Manage ad privacy choices" — visible only in regions where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and certain US states)
- Manage Google's ad data globally: Visit myadcenter.google.com to manage advertising data tied to your Google account
- Delete your locally stored app data: See the Data Deletion section for full instructions on clearing reading history, bookmarks, search history, and source preferences from your device

Note that limiting ad tracking does not stop ads from appearing — it changes them from personalized to non-personalized.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent dialog on first launch asking how we and our advertising partners may use your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. Under GDPR, you have the right to:

- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data

Because our Applications do not collect personal data directly, most of your data rights are exercised through the third-party services listed above, whose privacy policies describe their own data subject rights processes.
California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Other Covered US States
Residents of these states have rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which under these laws can include the use of advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.
You can exercise this right through:
- The consent dialog shown on first launch (where applicable)
- Privacy Settings within the app
- Your device-level ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android; Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS)
- Contacting us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
